I also can’t decide if the Rose/Jasper fusion is the best thing I’ve ever done, or the worst. Oh who am I kidding, it’s the worst… lol

DC Super Hero Girls Redesign
I think it’s super rad that they’re doing an all new superhero universe just for girls, but the designs seemed to me like a strange mix of their civvies and their superhero uniforms. I had a bit of downtime, so I took some time to delve into what might this universe look like in animated form.
But mostly I did this because I had an excuse to put Batgirl’s new outfit on an animation model. Can you blame me tho?
I was so very lazy this time around; all the poses in the last picture come directly from here!

Steven Universe Crystal Gems: Part 3
AND MY GEMSONA SPREE CONTINUES! I had such a wonderful reaction from you guys last time (seriously, how many of you are in love with obsidian?), that I felt compelled to continue. I’m going to compile all the gems as well as the crystal gems into one mega post soon.
If you want to make your own gemsona, but having a hard time thinking of gems, check out Gem Select | Gem Hut | Minerals by Name. When you’re done, show your creation off at gemsona-hq too, a great archive of gemsonas on tumblr. Oh, and check out Steven Universe if you haven’t already you turkeys!

Steven Universe Crystal Gems: Part 2
More Gemsonas! Some of you who have been following me for a while have probably seen about half of these concepts already in my earlier gemsona post. Obviously, most of the ones that I’ve designed prior have changed. Since Opal and Peridot have popped up in the show, I’ve changed their names.

I think I honestly had a harder time picking the names of the gems rather than designing them, lol. If you are having trouble deciding what gemsonas you want to do, check out Gem Select or Gem Hut. Minerals by Name is also a good resource as well. There are hundreds of gems, semiprecious stones, minerals and rocks to choose from! Check out gemsona-hq too, a great archive of gemsonas on tumblr.
